Switches a discount off so it can no longer be used - the offer is kept because orders point at it
swarmtix_discounts_delete
Switches a discount, public discount or access code off, so it can no longer be used, and returns its id. The offer is kept, not erased, because orders that used it still point at it.
When you would reach for it
- Retiring a code after a campaign.
- Cleaning up a duplicate after a retried
swarmtix_discounts_create. - Freeing a ticket type so it can be deleted with
swarmtix_ticket_types_delete.
Scope
discounts:write
The tool is marked destructive, because the offer stops working. It is idempotent: switching off an offer that is already off succeeds.

}What happens when you call it
Only the Active flag is changed. The dashboard's own delete removes the row and does not check for orders that point at it, so this tool does not use it.
A switched-off offer cannot be changed again through MCP. Create a new one if you need it back.
Troubleshooting
"discount is not valid: there is no discount with that id on this event."
The id is wrong, or belongs to another event.
